Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I pray that you will watch over Community Member's dear mother-in-law who has dementia. Please bless the family members with more love, patience, empathy, and understanding for the mother-in-law's healthcare and other needs. I also pray that you will grant wisdom and guidance to Community Member. She or he can meditate on Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." As for the state possibly being responsible for the mother-in-law's housing and healthcare, it might be a long process, depending on the Medicaid rules, such as selling one's property and assets, meeting the eligibility requirements for healthcare and housing, and waiting for an opening at a facility that has dementia care services. Please guide and direct the family in their decisions. May all go well for the mother-in-law and her family. In Jesus's name, I pray.
