BrandonC, I am praying for you. There is no shame in receiving help from the government. You have to think about the alternative. That help is there for those who need it and have no further recourse. If they didn’t accept the help many people would be homeless, helpless and hungry so give God thanks that he saved you from such a terrible fate. You are not a failure. Use this opportunity to rebuild yourself. Take a self improvement class, take the time to work on getting healthy. Stay encouraged and don’t let anyone talk you out of your blessings and the provision that God has provided for you during this stage of your life. Be blessed.
