Dear MelizzaM, I'm sorry to hear about your broken heart. I pray that Father God and Lord Jesus will heal your heart, and you will sense their everlasting love. Think about how much Father God loves us that he allowed his precious son, Lord Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins." Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this - While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." MelizzaM, to draw closer to Lord Jesus, I encourage you to develop an intimate, personal, trusting relationship with him. Talk to Lord Jesus each day as you would with a dear, loving, trusted friend. He certainly welcomes our fellowship. You also might want to listen to the hymn, "Just a little talk with Jesus," on Youtube. Another suggestion is to listen to the morning and nighttime prayers on "Grace for Purpose Prayers," on Youtube. Some of them are rich, refreshing, and insightful.
