Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I pray that you will allow Community Member to find a good paying, suitable job and an affordable place to live. Please give him or her wisdom, guidance, and direction, especially during job interviews. Let this person ask you what would be the best responses to explain the 10-year gap in employment. The person can tell the truth and explain what skills were gained from caregiving, such as demonstrating care, managing schedules, and communicating with physicians and healthcare teams, etc. Let the truth have a positive spin to it, and keep the focus and responses positive and brief or moderate. May Community Member also meditate on Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." May all go well. In Jesus's name, I pray.
