Personalize Jeremiah 1:4-8

Read the passage out loud or silently to yourself. Insert your name where there are blanks.

“Before I created you in the womb I knew you, _________;
   before you were born I set you apart;
   I made you a prophet to the nations.”
“Ah, Lord God,” I said, “I don’t know how to speak
   because I’m only a child.”
The Lord responded,
   “Don’t say, ‘I’m only a child, _________.’
   Where I send you, you must go;
   what I tell you, you must say.
Don’t be afraid of them,
   because I’m with you to rescue you, ________,”
   declares the Lord.

Make a space for young adults

"What I appreciated most about Journey to the Table was that it created a setting for deep, meaningful conversation about how spirituality intersects with everyday life. It provided topics that are relevant for young adults and a space where we could talk about how our questions and applications of faith show up in our real lives."  Learn more about Journey to the Table.
