This is a picture of God's extravagant grace, taken at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. God lives in the world through abundance, joy, humor, and delight. When I open my eyes, I glimpse God's extravagance everywhere I go.

This third Guide to Prayer by Rueben Job and Norman Shawchuck opens up the spiritual journey to "All Who Seek God." It's my favorite of the Guides to Prayer, partly because of its accessibility and partly because the voices of Job and Shawchuck speak more clearly through their written contributions.
Our resolve must be different. My prayer is that we have finally reached a tipping point. My hope is that when the protests fade and the marches slow that our will as a church to truly eradicate the scourge of racism won’t dissipate but grows even stronger.”
