I’m Tired

June 10, 2020 by Nathalie Nelson Parker

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young will see visions. Your elders will dream dreams.

(Acts 2:17)

Rev. Nelson Parker posted this video on her Facebook page last week saying, “I’m tired... simply tired. I said it in February... I’ll post it again. White supremacist ideals, practices, and structures are evil, period. Call it what it is... #ahmaudarbery #breonnataylor #georgefloyd #trayvonmartin #ericgarner #sandrabland #philandocastile

As United Methodists we promise in our baptismal vows “to resist evil, injustice, and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves.” Rev. Nelson Parker stands in the line of daughters who have received visions poured out upon them and she boldly proclaims her vision during a panel discussion at Discipleship Ministries on February 18, 2020.
