They might know some tricks that mainstream medicine misses. I don't how much they can for dementia. To be fair, this is a brain disorder, and my understanding is that it is difficult to treat. But you might check out this place. Alternative to Meds. They are a clinic located in Arizona that supposedly can treat all kinds of mental and psychiatric illnesses using natural health. I don't want to get your hopes up because I don't know if they could help your mother or not. But it might be worth a try. If things are bad enough that you need to avoid your mother for your own well-being, then this might make your life easier, if it works. It doesn't sound like you have much to lose at this point.
