This is my first time being published, and I am excited and honored! I thank God for helping me find the words, and I pray that my writing will help and encourage someone.
I found that writing a devotional is challenging: it needs to be short but meaningful and clear. That’s not so easy for me—I tend to ramble and must be firm in editing my words. Also, linking scripture that seemed appropriate was more difficult than I expected. That gave me greater appreciation for online search capabilities. And I am also thankful for the motivation to dig deeper into the scriptures I was reviewing.
Thank you for reading, and I pray that you have a blessed day. May we all recognize more clearly God and God’s guidance and our neighbors’ needs in our lives every day.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
