My son, Anunay James, is now doing his PhD in cancer immunotherapy at Washington State University. It is a long way from home. He moved from the warmth of South Carolina to snowy cold winters in Washington State. However, in the quietness of the small county he lives in, my son is growing spiritually strong with the Lord as his only source of help.
My daughter, Elizabeth Rushali, got accepted into the Medical University of South Carolina for their PharmD program. In her words, “If the Lord has provided for my brother, he will do the same for me.” Yes, we wait in faith and hope in Jesus our Lord, the God who says, “Blessed is anyone who takes no offense at me” (Matthew 11:6). As Isaiah 49:23 reminds us, “Those who wait for [the LORD] shall not be put to shame.”
