More From Chuck Kralik

August 26, 2021 by Chuck Kralik (Missouri, USA)

Hey, everyone. My name is Chuck Kralik. I am a pastor, Christian author, and, I might add, an all-around good guy! I am married to Sarah, and together we have two children, Sophie and Aidan.

Today’s devotion, “Only Trying to Help,” was written on a visit to my wife’s family in Nebraska. It turned out to be a funny situation, having a mama robin chasing me around in order to protect her baby. I’m sure the two of us created quite a scene in my sister-in-law’s yard! I’ve returned to Nebraska several times since this experience. Luckily, the birds have kept to themselves!

I’ve been writing for some time now. My first devotion in The Upper Room was published back in 2016. Since then, I’ve written for a couple of other publications as well. I’ve had devotions published in The Upper Room Disciplines and in two other books by a content creator called Devotable. Probably the writing I am the proudest of is a collaborative project with artist Terri Melia Hamlin. Together we published an illustrated Christian children’s book that tells the story of Jesus as a young child and the interactions he may have had with his earthly parents, Joseph and Mary. It is a fictional story that holds deep Biblical truth.

I’d love for you to check out my author website at www.chuckkralikauthor.com. Once there, you’ll find over one hundred devotional posts on various topics as well as more information about my children’s book.

Thank you for allowing me to share! Blessings to each of you!
