So much has happened in our world since I wrote today’s meditation, “First Days,” about how our lives are full of transitions. We’ve experienced a COVID-19 pandemic, disasters, riots, uprisings, and new wars as well as old ones that are still festering. But through it all, God’s word remains true. God said, “Let there be light.” And the first and continuing great light of all is the light of God’s love, presence, and peace in the lives of those who love and serve the Lord. May the light of God’s glory fill your heart today!
