The first COVID-19 case in Indonesia was discovered in March 2020. It has now been two years that the Indonesian people have lived with various adjustments in their lives. The world seemed to pause many of its routines. Most social activities are restricted and are now carried out online from home.

Many people returned home to be among their families. Some people are enjoying accompanying their children as they study at home. Some people have started new hobbies like gardening or cooking. Some people are now enjoying more activities in the morning since they don’t have to rush to avoid traffic jams.

During the pandemic, my mother spent much of her time watching cooking videos on YouTube. Eventually, she asked me to make a YouTube channel for her. Now we create cooking content together on YouTube. This is new and fun for me. Working closely with my mother means we are supporting each other and getting to know each other better. I never imagined doing this before.

I am grateful that in the midst of a pandemic, God gave us the strength to endure and strengthen the relationships between family members. May God always be with us all through the days to come.
