Two and a half years ago, I wrote my meditation regarding my leg pain. I have been suffering from avascular necrosis since 2004, and I still have not experienced any improvement in my condition. I still have difficulty walking, and my condition is the same as I described in my meditation. But a few things changed as I can’t do more physical work, but God has given me a talent for writing. By the grace of God, I am able to write many Christian articles, poems, and a small book. Whenever I have time I meditate on God’s word, and God gives me a good topic to write about. Not only that, but God uses me as a Sunday school teacher as well. I am not physically powerful, but God has selected me for this work. I am weak in my body, but God makes me strong in my spirit.
God will do according to God’s perfect will, whether I experience healing without surgery or through surgery to replace my hip joint. One statement that I learned from my life experiences is, “God never makes a mistake.” Suffering has been with me for 18 years, but God has been with me for 50 years, from my birth.
“My grace is sufficient for you.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
