Since the IEP (Individual Education Plan) meeting I mentioned in my devotional from May 19th, 2024, we have had many similar meetings. Our son was in 2nd grade at the time of that meeting, but he is now 25 years old and attends community college.
Through the years we have seen God’s work in his life in many situations. Our son was welcomed into our AWANA club at our church with great care and support. He has had some wonderful teachers who sought to help him reach his full potential. He has had friends at school with whom he enjoyed spending time. His sisters also have been a great support for him.
I would love to share the things I’ve learned about special needs with anyone going through the special needs life. If you have any questions please feel free to respond to this blog.
