The friend I mention in my devotional is Stuart Anne.  She and I have been friends for over 60 years and that friendship means more and more to me as the years go by.  Our childhood years were spent walking through our neighborhood, riding bikes, selling lemonade on the corner, turning in empty soda bottles for money to buy more candy and drinks, playing Barbie dolls, pretending the huge Magnolia trees in my yard were our homes, and just enjoying the simple pleasures of growing up in the 50’s and early 60’s.

She has lived far away from me for our whole adult life, but we remain dearest friends and see each other when we can.  She will always be very special to me.  I say our friendship has no beginning and no end.  Love you, “Sam!”
