As I’m writing this blog, my husband and I are on a trip to Israel, Jordan, and Palestine with our Bible college. We are only four days in and still have 12 to go. Here is a picture of us from Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land.
I wanted to give an update on the blog I wrote this past December. In that blog, I mentioned that I had not worked for the year due to health issues. Many members of the Upper Room family said they would keep me in their prayers. I have good news—my health is restored, and I have found a part-time job as a physiotherapist. This works perfectly with my studies. Thanks be to God. And thank you, dear family, for all your prayers.
...devoid of our regular routine and filled instead with uncertainty and a hum of anxiety, my husband and I have found the practice of joining The Upper Room each day at 11am (CST) via Facebook to pray, listen, and learn in community, including my sister in Houston. This is a much-needed healing balm." Join us on Facebook each day at 11AM Central.
