[Jesus] said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” - John 20:27 (NIV)
My road to becoming a Christian was not easy. It was certainly not an experience such as Saul had on the road to Damascus (see Acts 9:3-8). I had no glorious epiphany. I was much like Thomas — a doubter.
I wanted to believe, so — my doubts not withstanding...
My doubts can lead me to deeper faith in God.
Those who doubt
Respond by posting a prayer.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
