My road to becoming a Christian was not easy. It was certainly not an experience such as Saul had on the road to Damascus (see Acts 9:3-8). I had no glorious epiphany. I was much like Thomas — a doubter.
I wanted to believe, so — my doubts not withstanding...
My doubts can lead me to deeper faith in God.

Our resolve must be different. My prayer is that we have finally reached a tipping point. My hope is that when the protests fade and the marches slow that our will as a church to truly eradicate the scourge of racism won’t dissipate but grows even stronger.”
