[God] comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. - 2 Corinthians 1:4 (NIV)
The death of my two-year-old granddaughter followed by the death of my only child 23 months later left me in a wilderness of grief that had my soul searching for answers. Why? Why them? Why me? How do I survive this? What do you want from me, God?
God is present even inmy deepest grief.

I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
