In August 2016, south Louisiana experienced major flooding, causing widespread devastation. Many homes and businesses suffered major damage and people lost virtually all their possessions. The situation was stressful and depressing.
Yet all around us we also saw reminders of God’s Spirit. It was common for people to pray together...

Our resolve must be different. My prayer is that we have finally reached a tipping point. My hope is that when the protests fade and the marches slow that our will as a church to truly eradicate the scourge of racism won’t dissipate but grows even stronger.”
