Teach us to count our days that we may gain a wise heart. - Psalm 90:12 (NRSV)
In our family we have a tradition of reading Psalm 90 on the night of December 31, as we pass into the New Year. I enjoy this opportunity to reflect on the mystery of the passing of time and of my passing with it, on the transience of human life....
God’s hand has led me, is leading me, and will lead me tomorrow.
