I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. - Habakkuk 3:18 (NIV)
In 2001, my husband was diagnosed with cancer, my uncle died, and my mother’s congestive heart failure took a turn for the worse. A few months later my husband began cancer treatments, his father passed away unexpectedly, and my mother died.
Memories of the traumatic events of that year make...
Today and every day, I will be joyful in God.
Gratitude for my blessings

Our resolve must be different. My prayer is that we have finally reached a tipping point. My hope is that when the protests fade and the marches slow that our will as a church to truly eradicate the scourge of racism won’t dissipate but grows even stronger.”
