Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings. - Psalm 17:8 (NIV)
As predicted, the severe thunderstorms had blown through our area with a vengeance; but now the sun shone more radiantly than usual. Yet I felt as broken as the tree limbs I was collecting. The weight of the world pressed on me: concerns over family health issues, finances, fractured relationships....
Today, I will find joy in God’s creation.

I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
