You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. - Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
I pushed myself to ride rugged single-track bike trails far beyond what I’d ever done. Switchback turns, jagged rocks, tight spaces between trees, quick inclines and descents just kept coming. I barely navigated one obstacle before another was right in front of me. What had I gotten myself into?
Today, I will focus my thoughts on God’s word instead of my worries.

I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
