For those who wait
In despair,
In grief,
In sorrow.
You are comfort.
You are strength.

For those who wait
In anxiety,
In isolation,
In loneliness.
You are comfort.

In tender hope,
In tear-streaked sadness,
In fearful anticipation.
You are comfort.
You are strength.
