Celebrating Native American Heritage Month

November 10, 2021 by The staff of The Upper Room (Nashville, Tennessee)

November marks Native American Heritage Month in the United States. Join us as Rev. Bryan Tener leads us in a celebration of Native American Heritage in The Upper Room Chapel. This is a time to recognize, grow in our understanding, and raise awareness of the unique challenges that native people have faced in the past, how those challenges affect the present, and how we can work together towards a hope-filled future.

May these stories be fuel for our hope and lead us to action. Amen.

Join us for worship live from The Upper Room Chapel every Wednesday at 11:00 AM Central time on Facebook or YouTube.

I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
