I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.—Isaiah 43:19 (NRSV)

God is doing new things. And … I hate change. Or maybe it would be more accurate to say that I’m uncomfortable with change, with new things.

Here are a few resources for times of transition:

1. Stay With Me, a poem by Ann Freeman Price.

2. Disorientation, an article by Johnny Sears.

3. A video from the Alive Now archives. Beth A. Richardson, editor of Alive Now reflects on "Transformation" and the challenges of change and transitions. July/August 2014.

God comes to us . . .

"God comes to the woman who feels in exile in her own marriage. To the man who grieves the loss of life dreams. To the child who lives on the street. To the parents who struggle to feed and clothe their children. To the one whose loneliness or depression intensifies every Christmas." Click to watch video.
