However, you and I know that is not something which is easy. It is difficult to rejoice when there are so many situations and circumstances that are not going well in our lives. However, Psalm 33:20-21 gives us the key to all of this. “We wait in hope for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name.” David understood that the reason he could rejoice was not because of his circumstances but because of who God is.
