Like the scab that formed has been ripped off a few times and just keeps trying to close, but life keeps ripping me open with memories and pain from what these people said and did. Sometimes it feels like when you’re on a roller coaster that straight falls and your stomach jumps, that’s what it feels like when my brain randomly reminds me about what happened. I’m not even sitting around thinking about it, I’m just trying to live regular life, and I come across a place or a memory pops up or someone says or does something to mentally place me back for a split second until I tell it to go away.
