My mom read The Upper Room for many years. And even though she was on a very limited budget, she often gifted subscriptions to others. Mom recently passed on July 4th. I have some of her treasured possesions... a doll her dad brought home from Belgiu...Read Morem in the 40's, her rock collection, her birding book and field glasses, etc. It all speaks to me of mom and the unique person she was. While I know she is with Jesus, I am grieving deeply. Grieving over what a difficult journey her life on earth was, the cruel disease that ended her life and the fear it caused her. She prayed always. Only she knows how God answered. I'm a little angry at God, I'm missing my mom, and I need a way to move forward. I do not want to part with her possessions but I want to feel something other than sadness when I see them. Thank you.
