Please pray for a family member and myself and the boundaries we have with each other. For years, I've had an emotional type of codependency where I feel I always have to ultimately bend to their way them being my elder. Even though I don't see them ...Read Moremuch, I subconsciously have their influence in my life. I want to have healthy boundaries and let go of these unhealthy ways of thinking. They abuse their strength in the relationship, atleast verbally and emotionally. At the same time, there is a lot I've did wrong with them in the past, and if you knew this, there frustration would be warranted. We've never spoke with a counselor and tried to have both sides heard.
