Please pray for a family member and myself and the boundaries we have with each other. For years, I've had an emotional type of codependency where I feel I always have to ultimately bend to their way them being my elder. Even though I don't see them ...Read Moremuch, I subconsciously have their influence in my life. I want to have healthy boundaries and let go of these unhealthy ways of thinking. They abuse their strength in the relationship, atleast verbally and emotionally. At the same time, there is a lot I've did wrong with them in the past, and if you knew this, there frustration would be warranted. We've never spoke with a counselor and tried to have both sides heard. I'm sorry to be saying so much here, but want to lay this down and pray for us both to have more forgiveness and peace with how things have been. Thank you for reading and for your prayers. For those weighed down by worry and fear. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, telling him all your problems. Rest in the assurance of God's promise, to never leave us or forsake us.
