Nothing has felt right for all these years. My dad seems like he doesn’t want to be with us. Sometimes he comes for a few hours and this other girl keeps calling and calling and finally he leaves so he can talk to her. The crazy part is she is some middle school girl who thinks my dad is like a grandpa to her. Then he tries to make us hang out with her and her family. It’s too hurtful. He hasn’t listened when I said it’s hurtful that he calls them granddaughters when I haven’t had a chance to marry and have kids. Lord, we need the right surrogate family.
