On Monday a disaster relief team gets on the road from the Louisiana Annual Conference traveling to Florida. They are led by our dear friend United Methodist Pastor Bob. Please pray for traveling mercies and the safety of this team and many others like them who will be arriving for months to come, as well as thanksgiving for those who are here already. My sister who is raising 3 grandchildren under 4 years of age was an evacuee for a week. They finally got power and running water at their home but their refrigerator fritzed and died due to power surges when the electricity came back on. Still waiting on a new fridg to be delivered!! We thank God they have power, a roof over their heads and running water now!!
