There is a wonderful verse of encouragement the Lord gives to us. It is found in Psalm 34:18. It says "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" Often times when our hearts have been broken we feel like no one understands or is close to us. God wants you to know that if this happens to you He is right there as close to you as He can possibly get. When something is "crushed" it is usually completely destroyed. However, God tells us here that He is able to restore the person who is crushed. Just remember Sometimes when we come to the end, we find that we are really at a new beginning with God! Aren't you glad to know that when you hit the bottom you have really hit God!!
