I have suffered from clinical depression fo...Read Morer 40 years but it is managed well by medicine and the love of friends and prayers. There are breakthrough times, but they are quickly healed. The depression has been so deep I did not want to go on. Physical therapists told me it was not unusual for surgery and pain pills to bring on full depression. I am no longer "blue as a snake in a deep brown hole" but there is still a lingering fog of doubt and fear and anxiety I am asking for the joy in the morning and the life and loves and blessings that the Lord has given me to return with full force to share and reach out, and with humor and most of all love.

The diagnosis does not say she will die soon, but hope and our prayers will go a long way to making whatever time she has valuable and fulfilling and filled with joy.

My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and has a MRI tomorrow. My prayer is that it has not spread any place else. Also prayers for the double masectomy surgery and recovery go well. She will need reconstructive surgery and she is scared.
