God of splendor, let me be awestruck today by the beauty of your works. May I come before you with adoration and humble gratitude. Amen.
May I be awestruck by God's splendor and beauty.
The Rocky Mountains are my spiritual home — about my favorite place in the world. I took this picture in the Rocky Mountain National Park one fall. I was "awestruck by God's splendor and beauty."
Where have you seen God during the last several days?

Evelyn Underhill was a 20th-century British spiritual writer and retreat leader. Her writings are lovely, powerful. Here's one of my favorite quotes by her: "Faithfulness is consecration in overalls. It is the steady acceptance and performance of the common duty and immediate task without any reference to personal preferences — because it is there to be done and so is a manifestation of the Will of God." This book is part of The Upper Room Spiritual Classics Series.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
