July 1: Finding Peace in Change
1. When have you felt that you were living in a bubble or that you needed to escape the familiar? Why do you think that was? What did you do about it?
2. Has God ever urged you to make a change? If so, what was it? How did you respond? If not, how do you think you would respond to such guidance from God?
3. How do you turn to God when you are feeling nervous and stressed? What do your prayers look like in those times?
4. Recall a big life change you experienced. What did you learn from that change? Looking back, how do you see God’s hand at work in that situation?
5. Who in scripture do you think best demonstrated trusting in God’s leading? What can you learn from their story?
July 8: Run to Win
1. Have you ever run a race or participated in another activity that required physical endurance? What was it like? What helped you persevere?
2. When you feel like quitting, where do you find motivation to continue? Does it come from within, from others, from your faith, or somewhere else?
3. What encourages you to run your spiritual race with purpose and perseverance? What scripture verses and spiritual practices strengthen your faith?
4. When have you felt discouraged in your spiritual race? Who or what helped you to stay strong and continue running the race?

1. When have you missed out on something you really enjoyed because you were distracted? How did you feel about missing out on it?
2. Do you struggle to pay attention sometimes? Why or why not? What helps you to block out distractions and focus on what matters?
3. How does the Holy Spirit keep you mindful of the teachings of Christ? How does the Holy Spirit give you a peace that surpasses understanding?
4. Have you ever felt like you were not focused on hearing the Holy Spirit? What happens when you miss what the Holy Spirit is trying to convey to you?
