This photo is our family in 2013. This summer we will meet in Colorado again for Lynn's and my 50th wedding anniversary! Our oldest granddaughter will be heading off to college in the fall, so time moves on. We are so thankful everyday for all our blessings.
We just spent two weeks in Chicago sitting by our son's hospital bed. Our son, Chris, was very sick with a blood clot in his lung and then heart failure. He has rheumatoid arthritis, so he has a lot of challenges ahead. However, we saw God working miracles as Chris is back at work! He's on the far left in the family picture.
I continue to work with refugees. Aung Lin and his four daughters now live in Iowa. They seem to be doing well. Aung Lin is living with one of his daughters. I hope you enjoyed my devotion.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
