Paul said, “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” - Acts 20:35 (NIV)
As a little girl I enjoyed watching my mother prepare hearty stews, and bake golden loaves of bread and rich,
velvety cakes and pastries. Close to supper time she would pack portions of this food into a basket to take to a neighbor in need.

With whom will I share God’s blessings today?
Respond by posting a prayer.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what is it that you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s People and like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
