The psalmist wrote, “If I could fly on the wings of dawn, . . . [to] the far side of the ocean — even there your hand would guide me; even there your strong hand would hold me tight!” - Psalm 139:9-10 (CEB)
My great-grandniece, María Camila, started walking at
the age of ten months. To hone this new skill and feel more secure, she would hold on to someone’s hand. Because she was persistent, the process of learning to walk went faster than it might have.
Learning to walk the Christian path...
God can use my helping hand to guide others today.

Seeing young people, both men and women, participate in and write their testimonies at The Upper Room daily devotional writers’ workshop in Yangon, 2019, has been a highlight for me. The event and testimonies led to the publication of the first Lenten devotional in the Myanmar language. I truly believe that through The Upper Room ministry, the Lord will continue to equip people in Myanmar to grow and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
