[The righteous] will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him." - Psalm 92:12, 14-15 (NIV)
Standing in Sequoia National Forest, among some of the oldest trees in the world, always makes me look up. I am amazed to be in the presence of something that old that is still growing, still alive. I felt the same awe when I walked on the Mount of Olives...
I am never too old to proclaim God’s goodness and love.

I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
