Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. - Philippians 2:4 (NRSV)
Last year I was diagnosed with a deadly heart disease. The prognosis was grim, and my sole option was a highly specialized surgery. Fortunately I was selected for a program that
allowed me to have the surgery. I was scared, and I didn’t know if I would return home.
How has prayer changed me?
Those undergoing surgery
Respond by posting a prayer.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
