Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who mistreat you. - Luke 6:28 (CEB)
Years ago I worked with individuals who had suffered
traumatic brain injuries. Most of my clients were people who had been in motorcycle or car wrecks. Some of them were able to interact with staff and others who had similar injuries. Others were prisoners in their own bodies.
How can I respond to outbursts of anger with God’s love?
People with brain injuries
Respond by posting a prayer.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
