Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” - John 6:35 (NRSV)
My parents were great people, but when I was young they weren’t Christians. They hadn’t been raised in Christian homes, and they had a lot of questions. Even so, my mother found a place to have me baptized, and my brother and I were taken regularly to Sunday school.
With whom may I share Christ’s life-giving bread today?
Someone who led me to faith

I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
