While they were stoning him, Stephen . . . fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” - Acts 7:59-60 (NIV)
I spent my youth feeling angry and bitter. When I was 30, my marriage was falling apart. In the midst of that pain, I discovered the Bible. I came to believe that through Christ my sins could be forgiven. What relief! What joy! And yet I struggled to forgive others....
God’s grace can wash away all sin.

I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
