Sign Up TodayThe sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. - Romans 8:18 (NRSV)
I tend not to spend much time thinking about heaven but focus instead on enjoying the benefits of this world, like watching movies, eating, and fishing. However, God directs us to “set our minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth” (Col. 3:2).
One exercise...
Thinking of heaven makes me more joyful about salvation in Christ.

I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
