During this time of uncertainty, we know one thing to be true: We are together in Christ.
As a donor, you are a part of The Upper Room family. We are praying for the health and wellbeing of you and your family during the COVID-19 crisis. Last week, our staff compiled a list of resources for spiritual care during anxious times to share with you. You can find the list here. I also invite you to join us live on Facebook each day at 11AM CST for Morning Prayer to be led by one of our staff members.
Be assured the work of The Upper Room carries on, and we trust this is the right day and the right way to say thank you for making 2019 our best giving year ever.
We are beyond grateful to be in partnership with you. The Upper Room values listening to God, being a trusted friend, celebrating with thanksgiving, and exercising fiduciary responsibility, especially with your contributions. The 2019 Annual Donor Report (see below) shows the world what a difference you make to our ministry, and you can view the report below. Please consider it as a gratitude report, as we give thanks for you for supporting the ministries of The Upper Room.
Note: The Upper Room staff is involved with a special campaign this year: Twenty Thousand Thanks in 2020. We are saying “thank you” in as many ways as possible to share our love and gratitude to our donors.
I join many of those who will pray for you as you seek to discern what you are called to be at this moment. May God grant you the courage to fulfill that calling. May we all open our eyes and see the misery, open our ears and hear the cries of God’s people, and, like God through the Lord Jesus Christ, be incarnate amongst them.”
