I wrote this meditation ten years ago, but the feeling of climbing the stairs remains the same.
God is there, within reach of our prayer. I truly believe anyone can enter into the presence of God by praying.
During this pandemic time, I have been thinking a lot about the presence of God and have recently written this poem:
In the presence of the Lord;
take a rest.
In the presence of the Lord;
show your smile.
In the presence of the Lord;
start singing.
In the presence of the Lord;
hear the universe
In the presence of the Lord;
live with love.
Seek the presence of the Lord
And remain there.
The presence of the Lord is mentioned in several biblical passages. Perhaps the most famous text that speaks of this presence is Psalm 23.
