More From Linda Fasking

April 1, 2018 by Linda Fasking (Kentucky)

The scene I see across the lake is constantly changing. Some days are full of sunshine, others may be cloud covered. I have seen storms thunder by and winds rush through. We have four distinct seasons where we live. They go from mild springs to hot summers then into crisp falls and chilly winters. Change is a fact of life.

The most amazing personal change came to me when I invited Christ into my life and experienced that fog lifting power. But accepting Jesus doesn't guarantee permanent sunshine. There have been sunny days, cloudy days and even a few storms in my life and I'm sure there will be more to come. The wonderful thing is that no matter what change comes my way each day, God is right there with me to help me through it and grow me in it.

I love to watch the changing scenes across the lake and I also love to see the wonderful changes God makes in my life and every other life that's given to Him! A living, risen Savior makes all this possible. That's the joy of Easter for me!
